Cool Places in LAS VEGAS

Heard of it? Probably not since most people head to Vegas for other reasons

Springs Preserve Entrance

If you are in Vegas and feel like seeing some gorgeous desert plants- then don't miss SPRINGS PRESERVE

Here's the scoop from Wikipedia:

Springs Preserve consists of 180 acres dedicated to nature walks and displays and is owned and operated by the Las Vegas Valley Water District. The Preserve is located approximately three miles west of downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. The Preserve is built around the original water source for Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Springs. The Springs Preserve includes colorful desert botanical gardens, museum galleries, outdoor concert and event venues, an indoor theater, historic photo gallery and a series of walking trails that meander through a wetland habitat.

We visited in April 2010 and the place was amazing...gorgeous gardens and the Wolfgang Puck Cafe was delicious!! It was very enjoyable and worthwile AND we didn't even make it into the displays going on inside.
